Thought I try this place out while in GA. I seen people lining up at 10:30 in the morning. When I finally got in, I realize why they had a line. A must go to when I visit again.

Please try this place! I consider myself a barbecue addict and drive around the CSRA daily in my job. I found this place a few years back and even though it's an hour from my house I go often as I can. It's the best bbq I've had in Georgia and I've been to many many places. I even grab a squirt bottle of his sauce (hot for me) that I keep in my fridge to put on other bbq I have to settle for when I can't make the drive and it helps Stocked up this past July 4th to share with friends and now THEY make the drive. Trust me you won't be sorry. Remember though it's carry out only

Fantastic BBQ. Very friendly service. The BBQ here is the best you'll have in the state of Georgia. Everything on the menu is delicious from the sides like Mac n Cheese and Stew to the daily rotation of various Dessert Cobblers. Highly recommended for anyone in the area. Stop in and see how BBQ should taste.

You cannot beat the BBQ here! The service and the food were excellent! I had never had PEcan cobbler before - but after one taste, I went back for a 2nd helping so I could have more the next day. We ate at the picnic tables by the store and enjoyed every bite of the brunswick stew, cole slaw, BBQ, and pecan cobbler.

Best BBQ & Brunswick Stew in ALL of the South!! Hunters drive miles out of the way for this stuff. I drive out of the way for this stuff. Makes the BEST tailgate party! Located half way between Augusta and Athens. WELL WORTH THE TRIP but bring cash - this is a Mom & Pop business and that's all they take!

Don't be fooled by the rundown appearance of this old grocery store turned mom & pop BBQ spot. This place has great BBQ, sandwiches, ribs, stew, chicken, and sides. There isn't a place to sit down and enjoy these good eats so plan for a picnic or enjoying at home. I promise where you eat this won't even matter. You'll be transported to a happy place when the smoky pepper flavor lands on your taste buds. Only available Thursday - Saturday but you'll be craving this vinegar based barbecue all week long.
